Clinical benefits of ClearPath APBI
Accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI) treats only the tissues around the lumpectomy cavity where cancer is most likely to recur. As a result, the radiation dose can be escalated and the treatments shortened. Many single-institution studies have shown APBI to be as effective as whole breast radiation for controlling cancer.
ClearPath’s innovative design is less obtrusive and more comfortable than other APBI treatments on the market. Its streamlined design allows patients continue regular activities between treatments.
