For patients. Prospera brachytherapy offers patients a less invasive treatment for prostate cancer, with fewer side effects and faster recovery, than surgery.
For radiation oncologists. Prospera brachytherapy reduces the concerns about over-exposure of the bladder, rectum, and nerves with external beam radiation therapy. Motion of the prostate gland during treatment makes precise external-beam targeting difficult, but that is not an issue with Prospera.

We design and manufacture the therapeutic radiation seeds that are placed in the prostate, as well as the precision instruments to accurately implant them.
Every Prospera® brachytherapy seed has been inspected at least four times before being shipped. Its superior design and engineering delivers a highly efficient radiation profile. This may allow you to implant fewer seeds to achieve an equivalent therapeutic dose.
Our SurTRAK™ seed strands enable the stable placement of radiation sources outside the borders of the prostate, giving more men the option of minimally invasive brachytherapy treatment. Our SurTRAK preloaded needles improve the ease and accuracy of implanting the stranded seeds.
